Election Workers Needed for Virginia Waters By-Election
Elections Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking applications for polling station workers for the Virginia Waters by-election. Workers are needed for advance polls on April 2, 2014, and for regular polls on April 9, 2014.
Applicants must meet certain qualifications in order to be considered for employment. All election workers must be:
- 18 years of age or older
- Canadian citizens
- Newfoundland and Labrador residents the day before polling day
- Residents of the Virginia Waters electoral district
Interested individuals can apply online at www.elections.gov.nl.ca.
Applications will also be accepted at the Virginia Waters Returning Office (40 Airport Heights Drive) and Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s head office (39 Hallett Crescent).
