Public Advisory: Ferry Fleet Impacted by High Winds

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that most vessels in the provincial ferry fleet are stormbound due to high winds and it is possible that service could be suspended for the remainder of the day.

An intense low pressure system is producing south to southeasterly winds gusting to over 100 kilometres per hour and these high winds are expected to persist into this evening.

Ferry users are advised to check with their local ferry service for updates.
