Public Advisory: Section of Road to be Closed in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s on Saturday

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that road repairs taking place in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s will extend into Saturday, August 31, and Beachy Cove Road, will therefore, remain closed between the Beach House and Beachy Cove Café until repairs are completed. Motorists are asked to use Old Broad Cove Road.

The road closure is necessary to repair road shoulders following recent washouts.
