Public Advisory: Labrador Marine Service Update
The Department of Transportation and Works advises the following updates
for Labrador marine service:
- MV Northern Ranger has departed Lewisporte for Happy Valley-Goose Bay with stops enroute to Black Tickle, Cartwright and Rigolet. Regular passenger and
freight service from Happy Valley-Goose Bay will begin tomorrow (Friday, June 21) at 11:59 p.m. calling ports to Black Tickle returning to Happy
Valley-Goose Bay late evening on Sunday, June 23.
- MV Astron continues to provide seasonal freight service from Happy Valley-Goose Bay to coastal communities. The vessel is currently enroute to
Makkovik and due to arrive this evening (Thursday, June 20) at 8:00 p.m. Ports north to Nain are subject to ice conditions.
- MV Marine Eagle continues to provide passenger and freight service for the communities of Norman Bay and William’s Harbour to Charlottetown and Port
Hope Simpson.
- MV Apollo continues to provide passenger and vehicle service across the Strait of Belle Isle.
- MV Sir Robert Bond has completed seasonal service and is awaiting annual refit.
