New Schedule for Green Bay Ferry Service

A new three-point ferry schedule between Little Bay Islands, Long Island, and Pilley’s Island will be introduced on Monday, May 27. Shoal Arm will no longer be a port of call.

“Our decision to remove Shoal Arm from the Green Bay ferry service was made following a comprehensive review of the demand for service and ferry utilization and in consultation with local ferry user committees,” said the Honourable Paul Davis, Minister of Transportation and Works. “We are in the process of reviewing all ferry services to identify opportunities for efficiencies while ensuring that we continue to provide service to communities that rely on marine transportation.”

Service will continue to be provided to residents of Little Bay Islands and Long Island via the terminal port of Pilley’s Island.
