Media Advisory: Minister to Attending Opening of Sportfest 2013

The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will speak on behalf of the Provincial Government at the opening of Sportfest 2013. The event takes place tomorrow (Thursday, October 3) at the Techniplex in St. John’s, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Sportfest is an interactive sports festival, hosted by Sport Newfoundland and Labrador, designed to allow children and youth to try a wide variety of sports and physical activities.
