Jerry Doyle, Lisa Moore, Richard Neville and Marie Steffen are the newest members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council (NLAC). The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, announced the appointments today.

“The Provincial Government has a great appreciation for the groups and organizations that define who we are as a people, as well as generate economic impact,” said Minister French. “The four new members will be an invaluable addition to the board and the important work they do. I commend the council for giving their time and their expertise to ensure we continue to grow our cultural industries.”

Stan Hill, Chair of the NLAC, welcomed the new appointments.

“We look forward to working with the newest members of the board representing dance, music, theatre and writing,” said Mr. Hill. “These individuals will increase the council’s representation across the province. Their contributions during council, committee and peer evaluation meetings will further add to council’s collective expertise.”
