Media Advisory: Minister to Open Ireland-Newfoundland Art Exhibition

The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will be at Devon House Craft Centre, 59 Duckworth Street, St. John’s, tomorrow (Saturday, September 7) at 2:00 p.m. to officially open The Ireland Newfoundland Trail: A Journey of Plants and People.

The exhibition explores the plants and people involved in the migration of the Irish to Newfoundland, and celebrates the shared culture through a collaboration of 17 visual artists.
