The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will be in Grand Bank and St. Lawrence August 1-4 attending various community events. The minister will be joined by the Honourable Darin King, Minister of Justice and MHA for Grand Bank.
Today (Thursday, August 1), the minister will attend the Grand Bank Summer Festival fish lunch at the Grand Bank waterfront starting at 11:30 a.m.
On Friday, August 2, the minister will attend the opening of the new playground at Laurentian Grounds in St. Lawrence at 5:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., the minister will attend the St. Lawrence Soccer Association Homecoming Hall of Fame Banquet taking place at the St. Lawrence Recreation Center.
On Saturday, August 3, at 8:00 a.m., the minister will attend a breakfast on Grand Bank waterfront. At 10:00 a.m., the minister will attend the opening ceremony of the St. Lawrence Come Home Year, taking place at Centennial Field.
On Sunday, August 4, the minister will attend a soccer game in St. Lawrence at Centennial Field as part of the community’s Come Home Year celebrations.
