Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Canada Games Flagbearer

The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will announce Team Newfoundland and Labrador’s flagbearer for the 2013 Canada Summer Games at an athletes’ rally this evening (Monday, July 8) at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre (Powerplex) on Crosbie Road in St. John’s. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.

The 2013 Canada Summer Games will be held in Sherbrooke, Quebec, from August 2 to 17.
