Media Advisory: Minister to Launch New Tour Boat During Tourism Awareness Week

The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will officially launch Ocean Quest’s newest tour boat, Mermaid, on Monday, June 10. The event takes place at the Foxtrap Marina, Conception Bay South, at 10:00 a.m.
 
At the event, Minister French will also kick off Tourism Awareness Week, June 10-16. The week is a national initiative highlighting the contribution tourism makes both economically and socially to each region of the country.
