Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association
Releases Hall of Fame Cup/Elite Eight Final Rankings

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) has released the final rankings for the Hall of Fame Cup (Elite Eight) Championship to be held February 22-24 at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre in St. John’s.

“While certain teams were obvious choices, there also were some tough decisions that had to be made when ranking both male and female teams,” said Roger Head, Chair of the Hall of Fame Cup Program. “I thank members of the selection committee, who placed countless hours into this process over the past three months.”

The top eight male and female teams are listed below:

3. Bishops 3. Booth
4. Booth 4. Mount Pearl
5. St. Kevin’s 5. Holy Heart
6. Laval 6. Bishops
7. Baltimore 7. O’Donel
8. Mount Pearl 8. St. Catherine’s

Competition will commence on Friday afternoon (February 22) and will conclude with the championship games slated for the following Sunday (February 24).
