Public Advisory: Repairs Scheduled for Bridges at Chipper Forest Access Road
The public are advised that work to repair several bridges located on the Chipper Forest Access Road will start Monday, June 3, and take approximately six weeks to complete. The Chipper Forest Access Road is located south of the Exploits River in the central region behind the former Abitibi-Bowater newsprint mill in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Valued at $99,000 and funded through the Provincial Government’s Capital Resource Road Program, the work will mean delays and temporary bridge closures, including the closure of the bridge located at the 10 kilometre mark on Monday, June 3, and the closure of the bridge located at the 28 kilometre mark on Thursday, June 13.
