Building Stronger Communities for Families

Steady Brook Benefits From $391,000 Investment in Water Project

“We have a number of key priorities for municipal capital works funding, and water improvement is certainly one of these areas. This investment of $391,000 will bring great benefits to the residents of Steady Brook as it will secure better drinking water for the community into the future.”
- The Honourable Steve Kent, Minister of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs

In Steady Brook, $391,000 is being committed to develop a number of wells in the community which will serve as an alternate water supply and back up the current surface water supply.

“I am pleased to see this investment in such an important project for the Town of Steady Brook. This demonstrates the commitment of council to building lasting infrastructure and building a strong community for children and families.”
- The Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and MHA for Humber East
