Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Events on West Coast

The Honourable Steve Kent, Minister of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs, will attend two events on the west coast tomorrow (Friday, December 6).

Minister Kent will speak at an event to celebrate LEED® Silver Certification for Corner Brook City Hall. LEED®, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a set of rating systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings, homes and neighborhoods. The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall.

At 12:00 p.m. Minister Kent will make a municipal capital works funding announcement at the town hall in Steady Brook.
