Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Launch of Poppy Campaign

The Honourable Steve Kent, Minister of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs, will attend the Fly the Flag of Remembrance Ceremony to launch the 2013 Poppy Campaign. The event is taking place in the lobby of East Block, Confederation Building, tomorrow (Friday, October 25) at 12:00 p.m.

The poppy campaign officially runs from October 25 to November 11. Veterans, volunteers and Legion members will be distributing poppies across the province in exchange for a charitable donation to the Royal Canadian Legion.
