Public Advisory: Update Regarding Repairs in Areas Impacted by Flooding

Repairs to forest access roads, including Mint Brook Road, North West Gander Road, and Jumpers Brook Road, and Route 360 - Bay d'Espoir Highway are continuing today. Some repairs have already been completed.

Crews from the Departments of Natural Resources and Transportation and Works, as well as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, are assessing the damage further now that water levels are receding. The Provincial Government will distribute updated information as it becomes available.

The general public should stay off forest access roads and drive with caution on Route 360 in particular as crews make necessary repairs.

Individuals should contact their local fire department or police agency if they require emergency assistance. At this point, there have been no such requests for assistance noted.
