Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Speak at Newfoundland
and Labrador Association of Fire Services Convention

Vaughn Granter, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and MHA for Humber West, will speak at the Grand Opening of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services Conference and Trade Show today (Friday, June 28) at the Pepsi Centre, Corner Brook. MHA Granter will also announce Provincial Government funding in support of the association and the Learn Not to Burn Program. The event begins at 7:00 p.m.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services represents over 6,000 members in the volunteer fire services throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Its annual convention and trade show takes place June 28 to July 1.
