Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Investment in Museum

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, will announce funding for the Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador tomorrow, (Wednesday, October 23) at 11:00 a.m. The announcement will be held at the Wooden Boat Museum in Winterton.

The museum is located on highway 80, approximately 71 kilometers north of the Trans-Canada Highway. Minister Johnson will be joined by representatives from the museum and members of the community.

The Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador operates as a conservator and exhibitor of the province’s knowledge and history of wooden boats.
