Media Advisory: Minister to Help Open New Leaf Community Garden

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services, will take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open Choices for Youth’s New Leaf Community Garden.

The event will take place tomorrow (Thursday, June 27) at Choices for Youth’s Youth Services Centre located at 12-16 Carter’s Hill Place, St. John’s, at 12:00 p.m.

Choices for Youth is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides youth with a range of supportive housing options, access to a variety of services that promote healthy personal development, and is dedicated to supporting growth and restoring hope in the lives of at-risk youth.
