Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Cancer Screening Program Expansion

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services, will announce the expansion of the Provincial Colon Cancer Screening Program tomorrow (Thursday, June 20) at 1:00 p.m. The announcement will take place in the main foyer of the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor.

Minister Sullivan will be joined by Katherine Chubbs, Vice-President of Cancer Care, Eastern Health; Dr. Jerry McGrath, Medical Director, Provincial Colon Cancer Screening Program; Rosemarie Goodyear, Interim President and CEO, Central Health; and, Dr. Richard Lush, Vice-President of Medical Services, Central Health.
