Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Project in Meadows

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services, will announce the Enhanced Care in Personal Care Homes Pilot Project and the participating personal care homes, tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18). The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View House in Meadows.

The Enhanced Care in Personal Care Homes Pilot Project is an initiative of Close to Home: A Strategy for Long-Term Care and Community Support Services, a 10-year strategy to guide and transform the delivery of long-term care in Newfoundland and Labrador. The strategy was released in June 2012 to revitalize and strengthen long-term care services throughout the province.
