Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Funding for Provincial Mussel Industry

The Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will announce funding for the provincial mussel industry tomorrow (Tuesday, June 11). The announcement will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Ocean Fresh processing plant located on Wharf Loop Road in Summerford.

Following the announcement, guests and members of the media will be invited to taste mussel samples that will be cooked on site.
