Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Attend Association of Fundraising Professional Annual Awards

Paul Lane, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, will speak at the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals annual awards luncheon tomorrow (Friday, November 15). The event will take place at Holiday Inn in St. John’s beginning at 12:00 p.m.

The awards coincide with National Philanthropy Day, which celebrates individuals and organizations for their generous donations to charities and for outstanding fundraising activities.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals represents more than 30,000 members in 200 chapters throughout the world who are working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs.
