Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Major Milestone in Self-Government Negotiations

The Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister Responsible for Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs, will travel to Conne River tomorrow (Friday, November 8) to take part in a signing ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at the Miawpukek First Nation Great Hall, Conne River.

Minister McGrath will join the Honourable Bernard Valcourt, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, and Mi’sel Joe, Chief of Miawpukek First Nation, to sign a Self-Government Agreement-in-Principle.
