Media Advisory: Social Policy Committee to Meet in Marystown

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Chair of the Social Policy Committee of Cabinet and Minister of Health and Community Services, today announced that the committee will meet in Marystown this afternoon (Monday, October 28).

“Regional working visits are very beneficial in that they provide government with the opportunity to further understand a region’s social and economic priorities and activities, as well as any challenges or concerns,” said Minister Sullivan. “I’m looking forward to joining my colleagues in what I’m sure will be productive meetings in this beautiful area of the province.”

Minister Sullivan, along with the Honourable Darin King, Minister of Justice and MHA for Grand Bank, and the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Education and MHA for Burin - Placentia West, will be available to the media in the lobby of the Marystown Hotel at 1:45 p.m.
