Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Northern Development Ministers’ Forum

The Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, will attend the Northern Development Ministers’ Forum taking place September 22-25 in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The forum provides federal, provincial and territorial ministers representing Canada’s North an opportunity to advance common interests and raise awareness of northern issues and accomplishments. The theme for this year’s forum is Energy for All.

Topics to be discussed at this year’s forum include northern housing, information and communication technology in the north, benefits agreements and other issues of importance to northern jurisdictions.
