Media Advisory: Minister to Unveil Climate Change Projections

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister Responsible for the Office of Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Emissions Trading, will release climate projections encompassing the next 50 years, tomorrow (Thursday, June 13) at The Fluvarium, 5 Nagle’s Place, St. John’s.

The Minister’s announcement will take place at 10:30 a.m., followed by a technical panel featuring Dr. Joel Finnis, Climatologist at Memorial University; Gerald Crane, Director of Research and Analysis for the Office of Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Emissions Trading; and, Dr. Ali Khan, Manager of Water Resources Division for the Department of Environment and Conservation.
