Media Advisory: Premier to Announce Health and Wellness Grant Funding

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will announce the recipients of the Provincial Government’s health and wellness grants tomorrow (Tuesday, June 4). The event will begin 10:00 a.m. at MacMorran Community Centre, 10 Brother McSheffrey Lane, St. John’s.
 
Premier Dunderdale will be joined by the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Health and Community Services.
 
The provincial health and wellness grants provide financial support to community-based organizations and focus on a range of health initiatives, including age-friendly communities, wellness and cancer prevention and awareness.
