Media Advisory: Premier to Host Athletic Awards
The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will host the Premier’s Athletic Awards today (Wednesday, May 15) at 4:30 p.m. at the Delta Hotel, St. John’s.
The Premier’s Athletic Awards Program was established in 2005 to recognize athletic excellence and provides grants to assist young athletes with the costs of training and competition at the elite level.
The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will be the Master of Ceremonies at this year’s event.
