Media Advisory: Premier to Break Ground for New Paradise Arena
The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in a ground breaking ceremony for the new Paradise arena complex tomorrow (Wednesday, May 1) at 12:00 p.m. The Premier will be joined by the Honourable Kevin O'Brien, Minister of Municipal Affairs; the Honourable Paul Davis, Minister of Transportation and Works and MHA for Topsail; Steve Kent, MHA for Mount Pearl North; David Brazil, MHA for Conception Bay East - Bell Island; and Ralph Wiseman, Mayor of Paradise.The ceremony is taking place at the building site on McNamara Drive next to the community centre.
