Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Speak at Volunteer Hall of Fame Event

Steve Kent, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Keith Hutchings, Minister Responsible for Office of Public Engagement, will participate in an event to introduce inductees to the 2013 Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame.

The event begins at 2:00 p.m. today (Thursday, April 25) at the Community Sector Council, 25 Anderson Avenue, St. John's.

Launched in 2012 by the Provincial Council of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, the Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame honours the efforts of those who make long standing volunteer contributions to their communities and the province.
