Provincial Government Unveils New Home Page
Today, the Provincial Government launched a new look, feel, and design for the home page of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s website. Steve Kent, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Keith Hutchings, Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, unveiled the new page this afternoon.
“The new layout of Provincial Government’s home page will make it easier for everyone to navigate and find the services they are looking for online,” said Mr. Kent. “This page was designed with our citizens in mind. Our programs and services are now more accessible and easier to find.”
The redesigned home page features a more user-friendly layout with quick links to some of the Provincial Government’s most frequently visited pages such as the provincial highway web cams system, Motor Vehicle Registration, and the student aid program.
“This new home page will improve the experience for our residents, businesses and visitors alike,” said Mr. Kent. “It is also a great vehicle for the Provincial Government to engage and connect with the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. By working collaboratively on a wide range of initiatives, we can continue to develop and grow our province.”
