Premier Congratulates Frank Fagan on Appointment
as Province’s New Lieutenant Governor

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today congratulated Frank Fagan on his appointment by the Prime Minister as the province’s new Lieutenant Governor.

“As a life-long volunteer and well-respected business leader, I am confident Mr. Fagan will serve this province extremely well as Lieutenant Governor,” said Premier Dunderdale. “I offer congratulations to Mr. Fagan and I look forward to working with him in his new capacity as Queen’s Representative.”

Premier Dunderdale also commended the work of outgoing Lieutenant Governor John Crosbie.

“There is no doubt that as Lieutenant Governor, John Crosbie will be remembered for his passion, his great spirit and, above all, his unwavering dedication to serving the people of the province,” said Premier Dunderdale. “On behalf of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, I offer sincere thanks to Mr. Crosbie and his wife, Jane Furneaux Crosbie, and wish the family all the very best in the future.”
