Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to
Speak at Volunteer Hall of Fame Event

Steve Kent, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Keith Hutchings, Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, will bring greetings at the call for nominations for this year’s Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame this morning (Thursday, January 31).

The event begins at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Sector Council, 25 Anderson Avenue, St. John's.

Launched in 2012 by the Provincial Council of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, the Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame honours the efforts of those who make long standing volunteer contributions to their communities and the province.
