Media Advisory: Minister to Sign Municipal Habitat Stewardship Agreement

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will participate in the signing of a Municipal Habitat Stewardship Agreement on Monday, October 7, in the community of Frenchman’s Cove.

The Minister will be joined by the Honourable Darin King, Minister of Justice and MHA for Grand Bank, as well as Frenchman’s Cove Mayor Donna Cluett and Garnish Mayor Reuben Noseworthy.

The event will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Grand Meadows Golf Course, Frenchman’s Cove.

The Municipal Stewardship Program, administered by the Wildlife Division of the Department of Environment and Conservation, is an initiative of the Newfoundland and Labrador portion of the Eastern Habitat Joint Venture.
