Public Advisory: Salmonier Nature Park Experiencing Water Shortage

The public is advised that Salmonier Nature Park is experiencing a water shortage due to a mechanical failure.

Effective immediately, the main washrooms in the park’s Visitor Centre are closed. The public washroom along the park trail remains in service. Drinking water is available at the Visitor Centre. All other park operations remain normal.

The situation will be closely monitored and an update will be provided when the necessary repairs are completed.

Visitors planning a trip to Salmonier Nature Park can call 709-229-7888 or visit the park website at www.env.gov.nl.ca/env/snp for a further update.
