Media Advisory: Minister to Recycle on the Run
The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will be joining Mike Samson, CEO of the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board, for a waste-free picnic to launch MMSB’s Summer Recycling Awareness Campaign – Recycle on the Run.
The event will take place 11:00 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, June 26) at Centennial Park, next to City Hall, 3 Centennial Street, Mount Pearl. The media are invited to take photos and enjoy some waste-free snacks.
MMSB’s Recycle on the Run campaign promotes proper disposal of used beverage containers consumed out of the home.
