Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Funding for The Gathering Place

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will announce the Provincial Government’s contribution to The Gathering Place’s fundraising campaign tomorrow (Wednesday, June 19).

The event will start at 11:00 a.m. at The Gathering Place construction site, 172 Military Road, St. John’s. Hard hats will be provided to members of the media.

The Gathering Place is a non-profit organization which provides services and respite services to members of the community who need support from isolation and loneliness.
