Media Advisory: Students Learning About Agriculture Industry

As part of the Agriculture in the Classroom program, the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Education, will be reading to students at St. Matthew’s Elementary school in St. John’s tomorrow (Wednesday, May 22) at 9:00 a.m.

An initiative of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture, the Agriculture in the Classroom program familiarizes school-aged children with the agriculture industry in the province, to help develop an understanding of where food comes from, and why the food system is essential in society.
