Media Advisory: Minister to Attend D.A.R.E Graduation

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Education, will be at Donald C. Jamieson Academy in Burin Bay Arm, tomorrow (Friday, May 17) to attend the Grade 6 “graduation” from the D.A.R.E. program at the school. D.A.R.E, which stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education, is a program offered to Grade 6 students as part of a partnership between the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the Department of Education. The event begins at 12:45 p.m.
