Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Conference Examining
Shortage of Skilled Trades Workers

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Education, will attend the Canada 2020 Skilled Trades in the Energy Sector conference tomorrow (Thursday, February 28) in Ottawa.

The minister will join senior executives from industry, government, labour unions and educational institutions for the one-day conference which will explore solutions to skilled labour shortages in Canada.

Minister Jackman will give his address at the Chateau Laurier Hotel at 8:30 a.m. EST.
