Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Launch of Financial Planning App

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Education, will be at Holy Heart High School in St. John’s on Monday, February 4 for the launch of a mobile web application developed by Enactus Memorial, in partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union. The application is designed to help junior and senior high school students develop financial literacy skills. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The FYI Expense Tracker application, developed by student volunteers at Memorial University, will be available to schools as part of the Career Development curriculum.
