Media Advisory: Minister to Address Child and Youth Care World Conference

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Child, Youth and Family Services, will speak at the first ever Child and Youth Care World Conference tomorrow (Wednesday, June 26), 9:00 a.m., at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland in St. John’s.

The conference, which is being hosted by the Child and Youth Care Association of Newfoundland and Labrador in collaboration with the International Child and Youth Care Network, will bring together professionals from around the world who provide care, education and treatment for vulnerable children, youth and families. The theme of the 2013 conference is Connecting at the Crossroads.
