Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Speak at Provincial Skilled Career Day

Dan Crummell, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Joan Shea, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills, will speak during the Partner’s Luncheon at the 2013 Provincial Skilled Career Day today (Friday, April 12). The luncheon will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the Bistro, College of the North Atlantic, Prince Philip Drive campus, St. John’s.

Mr. Crummell will also address competitors at the awards ceremony, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the campus gymnasium.

The 2013 Provincial Skilled Career Day is coordinated by Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador. The event includes 34 provincial competitions for junior high, high school, and post-secondary students and apprentice finalists in skilled trades and technologies.
