Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Opening Ceremonies of Skate Canada Newfoundland
and Labrador Sectionals

The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will bring greetings at the opening ceremonies of the Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Sectionals Competition tomorrow (Friday, November 9). The event will take place at the Glacier Arena in Mount Pearl, beginning at 12:15 p.m.

Over 50 skaters are competing from various regions of Newfoundland and Labrador in the Sectionals Competition. The winners of the competition will advance to the next round of qualifying events leading to the Canadian Figure Skating Championships.
