Media Advisory: Minister to Extend Greetings at Launch of Special Olympics National Campaign

The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will extend greetings today (Wednesday, October 24) at the launch of the Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador’s first annual Be a Fan Day. The event will take place at RCMP Headquarters, 100 East White Hills Road, St. John’s, at 5:00 p.m.

The event is also an opportunity to honour participants of the 25th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run as well as the volunteers, athletes, and members of the law enforcement community who continue to offer significant support and contributions to Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador.
