Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival

The Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will speak at the Opening Night Gala of the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival tonight (Tuesday, October 16). The event will take place at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival is an annual five-day festival that supports and promotes women filmmakers. With close to 4,000 participants and 500 submissions every year, it is one of the longest running women’s film festivals in the world.
