Wonderbolt Productions Receives Funding for Cirkzilla Tour 2012
Wonderbolt Productions has received $35,000 through the Provincial Government’s Cultural Economic Development Program to support its circus show called Cirkzilla.
“The Provincial Government is committed to the arts community and welcomes new opportunities to showcase artistic expression,” said the Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation. “This year’s show is being performed throughout the month of July in Gander, St. John’s, Clarenville, Witless Bay, and Torbay.”
Cirkzilla is an energetic and entertaining theatrical circus that appeals to audiences of all ages and gives them a glimpse of a modern circus.
“Wonderbolt is thrilled to once again bring our unique circus show to the province,” said Artistic Director Beni Malone. “We look forward to dazzling audiences with a high-octane blend of circus skills and showmanship. We are proud to be Newfoundland and Labrador's home circus and hope to make many new fans on this year’s tour.”
