Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Official Naming of
the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre Basement Theatre

The Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will be at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre this evening (Wednesday, April 11) to officially name the Basement Theatre. The event begins at 6:00 p.m., with the minister speaking at approximately 6:45 p.m.

The Basement Theatre is an intimate 76-seat black box theatre established in the 1970s and renovated in 2008. It continues to be a dynamic component of the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre.
